Infinix Xpad GT launched – gaming tablet with 144Hz screen

Last year, Infinix introduced the affordable Xpad tablet. Now, the brand unveils the Xpad GT, a model tailored for budget gamers, offering excellent value thanks to an unexpected chipset.

The Infinix Xpad GT is powered by Snapdragon 888, the 5nm flagship chip from late 2021. It features 8GB RAM, 256GB storage, and a vapor chamber cooling system.

Despite its age, the Adreno 660 GPU still delivers high frame rate gaming. Infinix claims it achieves 144fps on Standoff 2, 120fps on Honor of Kings and Mobile Legends, and 90fps on PUBG.

Its 13-inch display boasts a 144Hz refresh rate, HDR10 support, 10-bit color, 2,880 x 1,840 resolution, and 700 nits peak brightness, making it ideal for gaming and streaming.

For sound, it offers 8 speakers and DTS-powered 3D audio. Though there’s no headphone jack, it includes a USB-C to 3.5mm adapter and a vegan leather case.

You can separately purchase a keyboard with a trackpad and a stylus, making this tablet suitable for work as well as play.

The tablet has a 6.5mm slim metal body, a 10,000mAh battery, and 33W fast charging. It sports a 13MP rear and 9MP front camera.

The Infinix Xpad GT is available for pre-order in Malaysia on Lazada. The 8/256GB Stellar Grey variant costs MYR 1,700 (~$400/€355/₹34,150). Shipping begins in 14 days, and early buyers get the keyboard and stylus for free.
