Xperia 10 VII goes global

Xperia 10 VII goes global: Sony’s affordable model expands to more markets

Sony’s upcoming mid-range smartphone Xperia 10 VII is making headlines. This time, the model is expected to launch in more markets than its predecessor.

According to leaks, the Xperia 10 VII will be available globally, including markets like the US and Canada, which were previously overlooked with the Xperia 1 VII. This suggests a major shift in Sony's market strategy.

Several model numbers ranging from PM-1510-BV to PM-1515-BV have been spotted, indicating that multiple variants will be sold worldwide. One of these was even listed in an IMEI check database, further proving that the launch is imminent.

The device is expected to be officially unveiled in October 2025. It will feature a 6.1-inch OLED display with 120Hz refresh rate, a major upgrade over the 60Hz screen of the previous Xperia 10 VI.

Spec leaks also mention a 50MP main rear camera, Snapdragon 6 Gen 4 chipset, and a 5,000 mAh battery promising all-day use.

While Xperia 1 VII was limited to select regions, Sony may now be planning a broader rollout. The Xperia 10 VII is expected to be budget-friendly, and will likely launch not only in Europe and Asia but also in the US and Canada.

In an increasingly competitive budget smartphone market, Sony’s global approach could prove to be a smart move. With its upgraded display and performance, Xperia 10 VII may turn out to be a popular choice.

All eyes are now on the October 2025 official reveal.
